We're a small, growing dog walking and pet-sitting business in Ottawa, and honestly, we are getting completely overwhelmed with the volume of new clients signing up!
We're looking for an experienced individual to be our go-to backup tasker for walks and check-ins, mainly for clients living in the Centretown and Glebe neighborhoods.
This role involves covering last-minute cancellations or assisting when one of our regular staff calls in sick, so we really need someone who can be available on short notice and is comfortable handling various breeds and sizes of dogs;
we mostly have small to medium dogs like Frenchies and Beagles.
You must be professional, reliable, and able to stick to the specific timing windows our clients expect, since we have a great reputation we want to maintain.
This isn't just about walking; it's about maintaining our high standards of care, which includes sending detailed reports and photos to the clients right after the service.
We often deal with the tight parking situations around Centretown, and you'll need to know how to navigate that well.
This is a great chance to work with a professional operation and potentially move into a recurring role as we keep expanding, but for now, we just need solid, dependable backup coverage.
