I’m posting this on behalf of my very sweet but very senior Cocker Spaniel, Chester, who really needs a walk today or tomorrow because my daughter who usually helps out is sick!
I'm a homeowner near The Experimental Farm area of Ottawa, and I am really just looking for a kind person who can come over for a short, gentle 20-minute walk for him.
He is old and moves slowly, so it’s more of a stroll to let him sniff around and do his business, nothing strenuous at all.
He needs someone who is very patient and understands that sometimes old dogs just stop to stare at a blade of grass for a minute, lol.
This is a one-time, urgent request, but it might turn into a weekly thing if I find someone great, as I am just recently expanding my own small consulting business and my free time is shrinking fast!
You just need to walk him down to the end of the block and back, making sure he stays on the paved path because his old joints don't like the uneven ground.
His leash and treats are right by the door, and I’ll leave the back gate unlocked for easy access to the yard.
