Midday Puppy Walks & Training Practice near Parliament Hill (Kanata Area)

My family just got a new golden retriever puppy, and I'm a first-time dog owner, so I'm honestly a little nervous about getting this right!

We need a dedicated person to come to our home in Kanata, on the west side of Ottawa, three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) for a 30-minute potty break and play session while I’m at work downtown.

The main scope of work is really focused on positive reinforcement and continuing the basic training we are doing, such as ‘sit,’ ‘stay,’ and ‘heel’ for short bursts in our quiet neighborhood.

This is a crucial time for her development, so I need someone patient and who understands puppy behavior and how to reinforce good habits.

I am happy to pay a little extra for someone with real training knowledge.

I can send photos after everything else is agreed on to show you the setup and how adorable she is, but for now, just know we have a fenced backyard, though the walk part will be on-leash around the block.
