Planning Ahead: Dog Walks for a 1-Week Vacation Coverage
Message From The Owner
- We are a Small Business and usually handle all our walking in-house.
- Our primary walker is taking a much-deserved vacation in the first week of March, and we need reliable, professional coverage in Richmond for one week (March 3rd to March 7th) for three separate client dogs.
- This includes two 45-minute walks per day for a Husky puppy and one 60-minute walk per day for a senior Golden Retriever, so it’s a solid 2.5 hours of walking per day.
- We’d love for a great tasker to come back for future vacation coverage.
- The Husky is an absolute terror in the rain, which is pretty common here, so you must be prepared to handle a very wet and availability-challenged dog; he lives in a detached house near Terra Nova.
- The Golden lives in a small apartment complex near the hospital.
- We require a tasker with excellent communication skills who can follow a strict schedule and provide photos of each walk to the owners via our internal app.
- We are looking for someone who has their own vehicle to easily travel between the two locations and who is looking for more clients right now because we can offer plenty of solo walks in the future, too.
- Open to discussing rates for the entire week of coverage, but we have a set budget we are aiming to stick to.
- Let’s keep communication on this platform for the initial booking and scheduling, and we will move to our official internal system once you are approved.
