I recently moved to Vancouver and adopted a lovely rescue dog, but she is very nervous around new people and other dogs, so she needs specialized one-on-one attention.
I'm a first-time dog owner and honestly nervous about making sure I'm doing everything right, which is why I need someone with tons of patience and experience with shy dogs for two 30-minute walks every weekday.
This would be a morning walk (before 9:00 AM) and an afternoon walk (around 2:00 PM) near the Olympic Village area.
My apartment is on the 10th floor, but we have easy FOB access and a fast elevator, so that part isn't a problem at all.
Because she's so nervous, I need someone who will focus on positive reinforcement and make the walk super calm, even with the usual Vancouver rain and noise.
We’ll need you to manage the leash in crowded areas and make sure she goes potty outside, and then give her a quick treat when you get back.
I would love to hear a bit about your background and experience with nervous dogs in your message, as that's my main priority right now.
You can contact me on this website to share your rates and availability.
Hope this makes sense! Really appreciate your interest and patience with my special little girl!
