Recurring Walks for a Nervous Rescue Dog
Message From The Owner
  • I recently moved to Vancouver and adopted a lovely rescue dog, but she is very nervous around new people and other dogs, so she needs specialized one-on-one attention.

  • I'm a first-time dog owner and honestly nervous about making sure I'm doing everything right, which is why I need someone with tons of patience and experience with shy dogs for two 30-minute walks every weekday.

  • This would be a morning walk (before 9:00 AM) and an afternoon walk (around 2:00 PM) near the Olympic Village area.

  • My apartment is on the 10th floor, but we have easy FOB access and a fast elevator, so that part isn't a problem at all.

  • Because she's so nervous, I need someone who will focus on positive reinforcement and make the walk super calm, even with the usual Vancouver rain and noise.

  • We’ll need you to manage the leash in crowded areas and make sure she goes potty outside, and then give her a quick treat when you get back.

  • I would love to hear a bit about your background and experience with nervous dogs in your message, as that's my main priority right now.

  • You can contact me on this website to share your rates and availability.

  • Hope this makes sense! Really appreciate your interest and patience with my special little girl!
