URGENT: Extra Dog Walker Needed ASAP for Growing Business in Richmond
Message From The Owner
- We are a Small Business called Pawsitive Steps
- Our client volume has exploded recently, which is fantastic, but we are overwhelmed with volume and REALLY NEED HELP covering our midday walks
- We need to cover our midday walks in the Richmond Oval Village and City Centre areas
- We currently have three smaller dogs (a Beagle, a Corgi, and a Boston Terrier) who need a total of two hours of walking every weekday, Monday through Friday
- This split schedule involves a 1-hour walk around 11 AM and a 1-hour walk around 3 PM
- You should be available on short notice and ready to commit to a consistent schedule
- You would need to pick up the dogs from two different condo buildings (all within a 10-minute walk of each other)
- No need for a car – you don't need to worry about key fobs/concierge check-ins
- Ensure they stay dry and clean, which is a major challenge with all the rain we get in Richmond right now!
- We are looking for a professional and energetic walker who is organized and reliable
- We’ll provide all the leashes and bags
- You must be comfortable walking multiple dogs at once and handling the logistics of picking up and dropping off from high-rise buildings
- This position requires someone who is generally available on short notice if one of our other walkers calls in sick
- We need someone who can stick to a strict timeline so the pups get fed on time
- We’ve had a few issues lately with new walkers not understanding the complex waste disposal rules in the city’s condo buildings, so attention to detail is crucial
- This is a great opportunity to get a guaranteed five days a week of work
