We are a rapidly growing dog walking and pet sitting company based near Burnaby (just outside of Vancouver proper).
Our volume has gotten really high lately, so we need a reliable backup walker for afternoon slots.
We are looking for someone to cover walks between 12 pm and 4 pm for various clients, usually three to four one-hour walks per day.
This is mostly for solo walks in quiet residential neighborhoods, dealing with maybe one or two dogs at a time, never a big pack, which makes it easier, BTW!
We provide all the bags and leashes and have a strict standard of practice, like making sure dogs don't drink from puddles because of the city grime, especially after a typical Vancouver rain shower.
Access is usually via lockbox or a friendly concierge in the apartment buildings.
We need someone who is super available, and the great news is that the rate is negotiable depending on experience and the commitment you can offer us.

I have a car and can travel 15-20 miles from our main office location, so being able to get around is key for this job.
You'd also be responsible for taking clear, good-quality photos of the dogs on their walk and uploading them to our client portal before you leave the site.
