Dog Walking Help Needed for a Couple of Weeks

I am honestly so stressed because my usual dog walker, who has been with me for two years, just moved out of Toronto to the East Coast, and I need someone reliable to cover for the next two weeks while I find a long-term replacement.

My dog is a sweet but energetic Golden Retriever named Chester who needs two walks a day, one in the morning around 8:00 AM and one in the late afternoon, about 4:30 PM.

The morning walk should be at least 45 minutes to burn off some of his energy, especially now that the colder weather is setting in and we have to deal with the inevitable slush and salt on the sidewalks near our North York apartment.

Chester is very friendly with people and other dogs, but he is strong, so you must be comfortable handling a big dog on a leash.

The evening task includes feeding him and making sure his water bowl is topped up before you leave, and also taking a quick look at the small balcony to make sure there are no issues since he sometimes tries to chew things out there if he's bored.

We live in an apartment building close to a great park, but access requires a quick text to the concierge to let you up, which is generally quite smooth, but sometimes there is a short wait.

I've never had to post a task like this before, but my job is really demanding right now, and I can't leave Chester without his exercise.

I’m hoping to find someone quickly who can be consistent and give him the attention he needs to keep his routine stable.

I can provide the leash, treats, and bags, and I’ll show you the walking route we usually take.
