First Time Poster: Puppy Care and Training Near BCIT Campus
Message From The Owner
- Hi, I'm new to this whole pet care thing and a first-time user of this platform!
- I just got the most adorable but demanding Golden Retriever puppy, and I need someone to come to my detached house near the BCIT campus.
- This is for two one-hour visits every weekday afternoon for the next four weeks.
- This is mostly for supervised playtime, cleaning up any puppy accidents, and doing some basic training reinforcement (sit, stay, come).
- This is a learning process for me too, so I’m not sure if I’m explaining it right, but I want someone who has good experience with positive reinforcement training for puppies.
- We need someone to commit to the 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM time slot and the 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM time slot.
- You can contact me on this website and I'll respond as quickly as possible.
- The puppy is high-energy, so you need to be up for some intense play sessions, even on rainy days, because we're focusing on socialization right now.
- Provide fresh water at each visit.
- Practice 'kennel' command with a high-value treat.
- Give puppy a short walk around the block for new sights/sounds.
- Take lots of cute puppy photos for me!
