Message From The Owner
- I'm looking for a trustworthy and responsible pet sitter to look after my two indoor cats and one cockatiel at my apartment near the Richmond Oval, starting in January and hopefully lasting for a long time as I travel frequently for my new job.
- This would involve one visit every other day when I am away, usually for 3-5 days at a time, but sometimes up to a full week, so flexibility is key here.
- The cats, Loki and Thor, are pretty self-sufficient but need fresh water, food top-ups, and the litter box scooped thoroughly.
- The bird just needs seed, water, and a quick check-in to make sure his cage is clean.
- My main concern is that the building's waste disposal system is confusing, and you must make sure to follow the specific Richmond rules for recycling and proper waste separation for the soiled litter, which is clearly posted by the garbage chute on my floor.
- I also need someone who will spend at least 45 minutes each visit just to make sure the cats get some playtime, as they can get lonely, and to check that the bird is okay and has some company.
- The pay is $30 per visit, which I think is fair for the amount of time and the relatively simple tasks.
- I'm aiming for visits sometime between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM on the required days.
- I really need to find someone I can trust completely, and who won't suddenly cancel on me, because it makes my work travel so much more stressful!
