I'm really stressed out because my old dog walker had to quit suddenly because her family needed her back home, and now I have a huge gap in care for my two golden retrievers, Max and Ruby.
I need someone to come to my apartment building in the Downtown Vancouver area five days a week, Monday to Friday, for a solid two-hour block each afternoon, around 1 pm to 3 pm.
You'd be responsible for making sure they get a good, long walk, giving them water and a small treat when you get back, and wiping off their paws, especially since the streets are always a little wet or muddy this time of year in Vancouver.
We live in a high-rise building, and access will be through a lockbox I can set up for you, which makes things pretty simple once you know the code.
The scope of work is pretty straightforward: walk the dogs for the full time, keep them leashed and safe (they are big and friendly but pull a bit when they see a squirrel!), and send me a quick text update when the job is done.
I'd like to pay $35 per two-hour walk, and the rate is negotiable depending on your experience and if you can commit for at least a few months.
I prefer to communicate via email for all scheduling and important updates since I'm in meetings all day.
Thank you so much, you'd be a lifesaver right now!
