Urgent Overnight House and Pet Sitter Needed for Weekend Getaway!

My husband and I are taking a quick weekend trip, and we're feeling very stressed about leaving our house and two dogs, a Golden Retriever and a feisty terrier, alone from Friday evening to Sunday morning.

We are looking for someone to stay overnight both nights at our single-family home in the Terwillegar area of Edmonton.

This isn't just a drop-in; we need someone present in the house, especially at night, as the terrier gets anxious.

You'd need to arrive Friday before 6 PM and stay until Sunday morning around 10 AM.

Responsibilities include two long walks a day (morning and evening), feeding the dogs their regular food, and letting them out into the fully fenced backyard for potty breaks throughout the day.

We also ask that you bring in any mail or flyers that might be left on the front porch.

And water the few houseplants in the living room.

Our neighbourhood is quiet, but it can get quite icy on the sidewalks in winter here in Edmonton, so good boots are a must for the walks!

You'd be responsible for making sure the dogs are happy and the house is safe.
