Vacation Dog & House Sitting Opportunity Near Gatineau Park (Ottawa)

My family and I are individual homeowners going away for two weeks in January and are really excited for a break, but we need someone to stay full-time in our home to look after our two beagles, Daisy and Copper.

This is a live-in situation, not just drop-ins, and it would start the 5th of January and finish the 19th.

Our home is a detached house a bit north of Ottawa, closer to the Gatineau Park area, so it's a quiet and beautiful spot but maybe a bit far from transit.

The core tasks are letting the dogs out for bathroom breaks every few hours, feeding them twice a day (morning and evening), and giving them lots of cuddles and attention, especially since they get lonely easily.

Because of all the snow we get in Ottawa in January, you will also need to shovel a small path to the mailbox and to the dogs' potty area in the backyard every couple of days.

We have fast Wi-Fi and streaming services available for you to use.

We need someone who is very tidy and respectful of our space, and we provide all the food and supplies.

My son's family situation means we need someone very reliable.

Water the two houseplants in the living room once a week.

Take out the garbage and recycling on the scheduled day.

We are offering $60 per day for the full time stay, but the budget is flexible depending on your background and references.
