- Our established company is setting up a new office in downtown Edmonton, which means more travel for me, and I need a mature, responsible individual to look after my two small pets at my high-rise apartment on the weekends.
- This is a recurring task, and I really need help!
- The pets are a senior African Grey parrot named Archimedes and a silent little hamster named Squeak.
- This task is crucial because Archimedes needs very specific care and interaction.
- You would need to visit twice a day on Saturday and Sunday—once in the morning (around 9 AM) and once in the evening (around 6 PM).
- Morning duties include giving Archimedes his fresh chop (I’ll pre-cut it), changing his water, and letting him out of his cage for 30 minutes of supervised play.
- The evening visit is just fresh water, his pellets, and tucking him in for the night.
- The hamster, Squeak, just needs his water bottle checked and a small sprinkle of food each evening.
- My apartment building is a high-rise, and I can leave a visitor parking pass, but parking is tough here, give yourself extra time—welcome to Edmonton!
