- We are looking for an experienced pet sitter to help us out this coming long weekend, from Friday evening until Monday morning, for our small business that offers curated pet experiences.
- We have three different client pets we need coverage for in the Kitsilano neighborhood of Vancouver, which is why we really need someone reliable who can manage a diverse workload.
- This involves two overnight stays—one with a cat named Mittens in a townhouse and another with a cockapoo named Leo in an apartment—plus a third drop-in visit for an elderly tortoise named Sheldon once on Saturday and once on Sunday.
- This job is a great opportunity if you are actively looking for more clients right now and are available on short notice, as we are expanding operations quickly and need backup for our team.
- The main tasks will be feeding the cat and dog according to the detailed schedule we provide, administering oral medication to the dog twice daily, cleaning the cat’s litter box, and checking Sheldon’s enclosure to mist his habitat.
- Access to all properties is through a simple key exchange, but be aware that visitor parking in Kitsilano can be a nightmare, so allow extra time for parking – this is Vancouver we’re talking about!
- You must be legally allowed to work in Canada for this task, and people who have a vehicle will be given preference to make the travel between the three locations easier.
- Ensure Leo gets a minimum of two 30-minute walks per day.
- Document all feedings and walks in a shared app.
