Backup Care for Small Construction Office Owner's Kids in Capitol Hill Area

I just started my own construction business here in Burnaby, and honestly, I'm finding it hard to juggle site visits and administrative work while my kids are home from school, especially since the schools often have those surprise days off.

I need someone who can come to my home office in the Capitol Hill area to supervise my two boys (ages 7 and 10) on a semi-regular, on-call basis.

This would mostly be for full days during spring break or Pro-D days.

This is a great chance for someone to get to know my family, and if it works out, it could become a recurring need, especially as my business grows and I get busier!

The pay is $23/hr, and I'm willing to negotiate on price for an excellent, experienced person.

The house is a bit of a walk-up, so no elevator access, but it's a nice, bright space.

The kids are mostly into Lego and video games, so you'd be supervising their screen time and doing some light, fun outdoor play nearby.

We mainly use this platform for messaging, and I use transit but very reliable and looking for more clients right now.

Limit video game time to one hour per session.

Ensure they eat the pre-made lunch.

Take them for a walk around the neighborhood once a day.

Supervise quiet reading time for 30 minutes.
