Daycare Backup needed for Our Growing Company in Richmond

Our small, but growing tech company has a few parents who sometimes need last-minute backup childcare when their usual daycare is closed or a child is mildly sick, so we're looking to hire a reliable person to be 'on call' for us in Richmond.

We understand that life happens, and we want to support our team, which is why we’re putting this task out there.

This care would happen at the employee’s home, mostly around the Ironwood area.

We prefer someone who lives nearby, within 20-30 minutes, because these needs are often last-minute.

This is a great opportunity for newcomers to Richmond to get consistent work.

The tasks will vary, but you’d be responsible for following the child’s routine, administering any simple medication if needed (like Tylenol with parent permission), and keeping the children engaged with age-appropriate activities.

You don't need a car for this job as the employee will drop off/pick up.

We need someone who speaks very good English to easily communicate with the parents.
