- Hi there!
- We are a family of four in the Deer Lake area of Burnaby, and we are looking for a super friendly and flexible sitter to be on a standby list for us.
- Mostly for school district closure days (like Pro-D days or unexpected weather closures) or when one of our two children (ages 6 and 9) has a mild cold and cannot go to school.
- I'm a first-timer on this platform, and I'm a little nervous about finding the right person, but I hope this works out!
- The days would be irregular, but when they happen, it would be a full day, usually 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- You'd be responsible for supervising quiet activities, reading, getting snacks, and just generally keeping things calm and fun inside our house.
- Parking can be a little tight on our street, but we do have a visitor pass we can give you.
- We prefer to communicate via email.
- The budget is flexible depending on experience and last-minute availability.
- Read books for at least an hour.
- Supervise outdoor playtime in the backyard (weather permitting).
- Prepare simple, light lunch for two kids.
- Do a simple craft or art project.
- I use transit but I am very reliable, and I need extra work this month, so my schedule is really open!
