- I am an individual, a new mom, and I am desperately looking for long-term, stable daytime babysitting for my 9-month-old infant here in Ottawa.
- I'm transitioning back to working from home, and my family support system is not local, so I'm very nervous about finding the right person.
- The hours I need are every weekday, Monday to Friday, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- The job takes place in my condo building—it's a brand new building with great security, and you'll need a key code to get in.
- The main tasks are feeding, following his nap schedule (which is pretty solid, thank goodness!), changing diapers, and lots of tummy time and reading.
- I’ll provide all the supplies, including the specific formula and food he eats.
- I’m aiming for $23/hour, but my budget is flexible for someone with really great infant-care experience and recent references.
- Parking is tough here—give yourself extra time, this is Ottawa we’re talking about!
- We live near the river, and the weather can change fast, so we need someone who is flexible with indoor/outdoor activities.
- Having your own car is a plus because sometimes we need to drop off/pick up supplies from the nearby pharmacy.
