Message From The Owner
  • Hello! I'm an experienced user of this platform, an individual looking for a patient and caring person to look after my 18-month-old son two full days a week here in Ottawa.
  • Ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • I am returning to work part-time after my maternity leave, and honestly, I'm a little nervous about leaving him, so I need someone who is super reliable and has really strong experience with toddlers.
  • The job would take place at our home, a detached house near Bank Street, and we live close to a lovely park, which is great for outdoor time, though you'll need to watch out for spring mud season when it starts!
  • The main tasks are feeding him his bottles and prepared solids, sticking to his nap schedule which is usually around 12 PM, changing diapers, and providing fun, stimulating play.
  • Because he's so young, we really need someone who can focus solely on him and keep our home environment safe and engaging.
  • Feel free to message me here or via email if that's easier; let me know what your general availability looks like over the next few weeks and if you're comfortable with a friendly, small dog, since he'll be around too.
  • We're hoping to find someone who can commit for at least six months, and we're looking to pay around $22/hour.
  • We'll provide all the baby gear and food, of course!
  • Thanks so much for reaching out; looking forward to connecting with the right person!
