Urgent Need for Reliable Daytime Care near Metrotown Area!

My wife and I run a small, growing graphic design business, and we are completely overwhelmed with new client projects right now, which is why we really need consistent daytime childcare for our two elementary-aged children.

They are generally self-sufficient, but we need an adult present to supervise their remote learning assignments, prepare a simple afternoon snack, and generally keep them engaged and off screens for too long.

We are looking for someone four afternoons a week, Monday through Thursday, from 1:00 PM until 4:30 PM at our townhome in central Burnaby, close to the Metrotown area.

We just expanded our team from two to five people, and the workload is intense, so we need someone who is super reliable and can commit for at least the next few months while we get this new phase sorted out.

I have my own car and can travel 15-20 miles if needed for a meet-and-greet, and I'm very available on short notice for the initial chat.

Our budget for this is $20-$25 per hour, but we are open to discussing rates if you have really great experience with this age group, and the rate is negotiable depending on experience.

Ensure kids complete their homework tasks.

Light tidying of play area (putting toys away).

Walk to the local playground if the weather is nice.
