Casual Night Babysitter for Two School-Aged Kids in Richmond (Individual)

We are looking for a casual sitter for our two kids, ages 7 and 11, a couple of nights a month here in Richmond.

We live in an older detached home closer to the Fraser River.

Our last sitter got a full-time job and can't help us anymore, so we are a little stuck!

We're planning ahead for our anniversary dinner, so we need someone for a specific date next month, but if it goes well, we'd love to have you back regularly.

This would be from 5:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

The job involves supervising their dinner (we'll leave pizza or pasta), ensuring they have finished their assigned reading, and making sure the youngest is in bed by 9:00 PM.

The 11-year-old stays up later but mainly just watches movies until we get home.

We prefer communication through this platform for the initial chat.

We use transit but are very reliable, so we are happy to take the bus to your location if you prefer to meet beforehand.

The biggest challenge in our area is the recycling rules - you'll just need to make sure any trash is separated into the right bins, as Richmond bylaws are very strict on that!
