Friendly Babysitter for Pre-Teen Girl Near Ironwood, Richmond

I'm an experienced user of this platform, and I'm looking for a friendly, warm babysitter for my 12-year-old daughter here in Richmond.

This would be a recurring need, usually every Wednesday and Thursday evening, from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM.

We live in a modern apartment building over by Ironwood Plaza.

Since she’s older, the job is mostly supervision and companionship, not intense childcare.

She can make her own simple meals, but I need someone to just ensure she sticks to a routine, finishes her homework, and doesn’t spend all evening on her phone.

We just started a new, very demanding work schedule, so finding someone reliable to be with her a few nights a week is really important to us.

Access to our building is by key code, which is easy.

The main tasks are confirming her homework is finished and being a calm, friendly adult presence until I get home.

It gets really foggy in Richmond in the fall and winter, so reliability in all weather conditions is a must!

I am looking for more clients right now because I’m trying to save up for a new camera.

Ensure homework completion before 7:00 PM

Supervise dinner (she prepares it herself)

Ensure she is safely in bed by 10:00 PM
