Overnight Babysitter for Professional Couple (High Standards)

We are a small, professional operation, and we require the highest standard of care for our three children (ages 4, 6, and 8) on occasional Friday or Saturday nights in our townhouse in West Burnaby.

My partner and I have recurring business engagements that keep us out until 5 AM, so we are looking for someone who can manage a full evening and overnight, from 7 PM until 6 AM the next morning.

Good English is important for this task because the children love to talk and need to be understood clearly during the evening routine, and we expect excellent communication and detailed notes for the morning.

We are looking for someone local, ideally within 30 minutes of our location, and we are willing to pay $200 for the full overnight shift, but the rate is negotiable depending on experience and references.

We live in a quiet complex, and no vehicle is needed as the 123 bus route is very close.

You must also include a short intro about yourself when contacting me because we are looking for a very specific type of caregiver for our kids.

Supervise dinner and clean up the kitchen completely.

Oversee a half-hour of quiet reading time.

Ensure the kids are tucked into bed by 9:00 PM latest.

Tidy up the main living area before settling down for the night.

Prepare a simple breakfast (cereal/toast) for the kids at 6:00 AM.
