We have two children, ages 7 and 10, who need care every other Saturday evening, usually from 5:30 PM until around 10:30 PM.
The kids are self-sufficient, but we need an adult here to supervise.
We live in a townhouse, and we have a very active community; transit access is a bit limited here, so people who have a vehicle will be given preference.
Parking is ample, though, which is nice.
Your main tasks would be: helping them tidy up after dinner (which we will leave ready), overseeing their homework (if any), and ensuring they are in bed by 9:00 PM (the 10-year-old is allowed to read quietly until 9:30 PM).
Since we are just starting this routine, we are looking for someone who is calm and organized.
I can pay $20/hour for this consistent work.
Since it's a new routine for us, I'm open to discussing rates for the right fit, as the quality of care is most important.
