Message From The Owner
- We are a small, professional babysitting service in Calgary, and we are currently completely overwhelmed with weekend bookings; frankly, we’ve expanded too fast and need reliable back-up sitters immediately!
- We have multiple clients in the central and inner-city areas (Kensington, Mission, etc.) who need night-time care for a variety of ages, mostly 6 PM to 1 AM shifts.
- This is a great opportunity for someone who uses transit but is very reliable or is looking for more clients right now, as we can guarantee consistent work every weekend for the right person.
- We are seeking a sitter who is comfortable stepping into different homes and maintaining our high standards of care and professionalism.
- Duties always involve dinner supervision, following a strict bedtime routine (which varies by family), and engaging in quiet play or reading beforehand.
- Due to the high-demand areas we service, you should allow extra time for parking, this is Calgary we’re talking about, especially in the busy neighborhoods, so we prioritize people who have a vehicle will be given preference to make those late-night transitions easier.
- We are happy to share more info after we discuss the basics.
- We prefer someone who lives nearby, within 20-30 minutes of the inner city, because of the late hours.
- We require all applicants to have legal work authorization in Canada and be able to communicate well in English with the parents and our central dispatcher.
- We pay a fixed rate of $25/hour and prefer to pay in cash at the end of each shift.
