I am a homeowner who is new to using this platform, and I am looking for a reliable, professional sitter to watch my two young children, ages 2 and 5, most Friday and Saturday nights from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM in Richmond.
I’m stressed because my previous sitter moved away to go to university, and finding someone trustworthy for these late weekend hours has been really challenging.
We live in a nice, large detached house closer to the Richmond Centre Mall area.
You’d be responsible for making a small meal for them, which would mostly involve heating up something I’ve already prepared, and managing their staggered bedtimes - the two-year-old goes down at 7:30 PM, and the five-year-old at 8:30 PM.
I need someone who speaks very good English because I want clear, strong communication about how the evenings went, especially with the little one.
The children are generally happy and they love reading books, so that’s the main activity after dinner.
Once they are both asleep, you can relax, but I expect you to be actively listening and checking on them regularly.
I’m hoping to find someone who can commit to this recurring schedule for the next few months because I really value consistency for my kids.
I prefer communication through this platform for the initial back-and-forth, but we can switch to text once we feel comfortable with each other and have agreed on a schedule and rate.
We live on a quiet side street, but finding street parking can still sometimes be a bit of a challenge due to our proximity to the mall, so please plan accordingly.
