Weekend Evening Care for Two Kids in South Burnaby (Company Post)

We run an established real estate company with multiple office locations, and my partner and I often have mandatory weekend evening networking events we must attend to keep the business growing, which is why we're looking for recurring Friday or Saturday night babysitting help for our two school-age children (7 and 9).

We are happy to pay a flat rate of $120 for a 5-hour shift, usually 6 PM to 11 PM, and the budget is flexible depending on your experience with this age group, so we can negotiate the price a bit if needed.

We need someone who can travel here easily to Burnaby because we don't live close to a SkyTrain station, but I have a car and can travel 15-20 miles if that means finding the right person for the job, as reliable transportation for you is important.

You would be responsible for making sure homework is finished right after you arrive, getting them to brush their teeth and change into pajamas, and making a simple snack like popcorn or fruit before they settle down to watch a movie or play board games until their 9 PM bedtime.

My main form of contact for discussing details about the kids’ allergies and the house rules is through email; however, I will check the CityTasker platform for initial applications, so let’s keep communication on this platform for now.

We live in a large apartment building in the Metrotown area, and access is easy with a key code I will give you.

* Ensure kids are in bed by 9:00 PM latest.

* Tidy up any toys/dishes they use before we return.

* Handle any unexpected emergencies calmly.
