Experienced Individual Seeks Reliable Babysitter in Leslieville

I'm a first-timer using a service like this, and I'm a bit nervous, but I need to find a trustworthy sitter for my daughter (age 6) in the Leslieville area of Toronto.

We live on the third floor of a walk-up apartment building (no elevator, sorry!), and I need care every Saturday from 7:00 PM to midnight. This would be a recurring job.

My reason for needing help is simple: I miss having a social life and need a break once a week to meet up with friends or go to the movies.

The job is pretty straightforward: play with her, read her a bedtime story, and make sure she's asleep by 9:00 PM.

I will leave detailed instructions and emergency numbers.

The biggest thing in our neighborhood is that we need to be really careful about who is coming into the building, so you must be okay with me asking for references and doing a quick video chat first.
