We are a small, professional company running weekend pop-up events in the Brentwood area of Burnaby, and we need a reliable person to babysit the kids of two of our core team members while we manage the events.
I prefer to communicate via email, but I can send photos after everything else is agreed on.
Supervise playtime and craft projects.
Make sure they don’t eat all the cookies at once.
Take them to a nearby parkette for 30 minutes if the sun actually comes out.
We’ve just started expanding our operations to include more weekend dates, and it’s been a fun challenge but we can’t handle the kids and the setup at the same time.
The care would be required on two upcoming weekend days, Saturday and Sunday, for a total of about 15 hours.
We are looking for someone who has their own vehicle to get to the location, as while it is near the Skytrain, the last block is a bit isolated, and we’ll need you to transport a few of their toys and supplies (we can help carry).
The kids are 6 and 8, and they just need to be supervised, played with, and given snacks—we’ll provide everything.
We can offer $22-$26 per hour, and we are willing to negotiate on price for someone with great references and a lot of experience.
