- I'm a first-time parent using this service, and my partner and I are just looking for a little break on a Sunday afternoon, maybe 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, to get some errands done and have a quiet coffee.
- We have a sweet, but busy, two-year-old boy who mostly needs supervision and playtime.
- We live in a small, 2-bedroom condo in Westboro, and it's easily accessible via major bus routes, which is a nice plus for anyone who uses transit.
- The main tasks would be playing with him in the living room, reading a few books, and preparing a light snack, like cut-up fruit or yogurt.
- He is generally very happy, but he is at the age where communication is a bit tricky, so must be able to communicate well in English to understand his needs and ours.
- We would love to find someone who is very patient and has experience with the 'terrible twos' phase (not gonna lie, it's intense!).
- The nice thing about our building is that there is a great little parkette right across the street, which is perfect for burning off some energy, just remember that the sun sets early in Ottawa now, even on Sundays.
- My initial thought is for a four-hour block every other Sunday for the next few months, but we could make it weekly if we find the right match.
