Regular Saturday Evening Babysitter for Two Small Children in Commercial Drive
Message From The Owner
- We are a small business that just started a weekend pop-up shop in Gastown, and we desperately need a dependable babysitter every Saturday evening so we can both work our new late shift.
- This is a recurring need for our two children, a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old, at our little place near Commercial Drive.
- The shift would typically be from 5:30 PM until 11:30 PM, and we need someone who can handle the whole routine, including a quick bath, bottle feeding the baby, and reading the 4-year-old a bedtime story.
- It would be great if you're not more than 40 mins away by transit or car since the evenings can be unpredictable, and finding reliable weekend sitters in Vancouver is challenging.
- We're happy to hire new immigrants to Vancouver who are trying to build up work experience, as long as you have a loving and patient manner with kids.
- I need someone who speaks very good English because the baby has special medical instructions we need to make sure are perfectly understood.
- I prefer to pay in cash upon completion of the task, and no vehicle is needed for this job since our place is right by the Skytrain.
- I can send photos after everything else is agreed on to show you the kids’ setup.
- Prepare the baby’s formula and feed him.
- Change diapers for both children.
- Ensure the 4-year-old’s favourite blanket is ready for bedtime.
- Do a quick wipe-down of the dinner table.
