Seeking Backup Sitter in Central Edmonton - Service Provider Overwhelmed

I am an overwhelmed service provider—a solo sitter—and I am looking for backup on a recurring basis for my clients in the central Edmonton area when I am double-booked or need a break.

This task is perfect for new immigrants in Edmonton who are looking to gain local childcare experience.

We need someone who speaks very good English because the client families rely on clear communication about their children's routines and notes.

This is mostly evening and weekend work, sometimes just for a few hours.

The locations vary but are all easily accessible by the bus/LRT transit system—no vehicle is needed for this job, which is a huge bonus for navigating Edmonton downtown traffic!

We are just looking for someone local, no more than 20 minutes travel time, because last-minute changes happen all the time.

I prefer to pay in cash right after each booking is complete.

Making sure the kids are safe and happy.

Following the family's specific bedtime routine.

Communicating clearly with me and the parents.

Dealing with minor sibling squabbles (lol).

Keeping a log of meals/activities.

Warming up pre-made food.
