Seeking Fun and Engaging Sitter for Pre-Teens in UBC Area

We are an established company with multiple project locations across the Lower Mainland, and our leadership team needs to meet for long hours on some weekends without interruption, so we are seeking a fun-loving sitter for two weekends per month.

We need someone who can engage our 10-year-old and 12-year-old sons, mostly focusing on activities beyond screen time, like board games, card games, and maybe a visit to the UBC museum nearby.

Our house is on campus, but finding parking is really difficult, so you’ll want to take transit; I use transit but very reliable.

This is a slightly longer shift, 11 AM to 7 PM on both Saturday and Sunday, so you’d need to be comfortable preparing both lunch and an early dinner.

We are willing to negotiate on price for the right person who has great energy and can commit to these regular dates.

The boys are pretty self-sufficient, but we need supervision to ensure they stick to their schedules and chores.

Help the boys tidy their rooms.

Ensure all dishes are loaded into the dishwasher after meals.

Monitor screen time use (1-hour limit total).

Take them out for a walk around the neighborhood.
