I am really excited because I just started a new job, but my old babysitter had to move back home suddenly, so I'm in a bit of a bind for weekend care.
I need someone friendly and reliable to watch my three-year-old son, Leo, on Saturday nights from about 5:00 PM until 11:00 PM, starting as soon as possible.
We live in a condo building near the Entertainment District in Toronto, so there's a concierge and great security, but you'll need the key fob for the elevator.
This is a recurring gig, so I'm hoping to find someone who is looking for steady work and can commit for at least a few months.
The main tasks would be playing with him, reading a few books, making a simple dinner (like mac and cheese or chicken nuggets), and getting him ready for bed by 8:30 PM.
He's a really easygoing kid, and he mostly just likes playing with his train set.
My biggest worry right now is that the cold Toronto weather is making the playgrounds unusable, so you'll need to be creative with indoor activities, like building forts or doing puzzles.
I’m hoping to pay $20/hour, but I am open to discussing rates depending on your experience and if you have any special certifications, like first aid.
Really appreciate you taking a look at this! You'd be a lifesaver!
