Message From The Owner
- We are a small business that runs weekend workshops downtown, and we desperately need reliable weekend childcare for the owner's 3-year-old and 5-year-old sons, which is why we’re expanding our search for help.
- My previous sitter moved away suddenly, and I’m really panicking about covering the next few weekends while keeping the business running smoothly.
- The care would take place in our small office suite in a commercial building in the Metrotown area of Burnaby, and we need someone for both Saturday and Sunday, typically from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- I am available on short notice for an interview this week to get things set up.
- Your main job will be keeping the two boys safe and entertained in our dedicated kids’ corner, which has lots of toys and crafts.
- You would also need to manage snack time and handle any necessary diaper changes for the three-year-old.
- I’d like to pay in the $20-$25 per hour range, and I prefer to communicate via email about scheduling details because I check it constantly, but the easiest way to reach me initially is through the CityTasker platform.
- I will provide all the snacks, supplies, and cleaning materials you need, so you don't need to worry about that.
- Keep both boys safely contained within the office suite.
- Read books and play games, limiting screen time to one hour.
- Take them down to the lobby for a quick, supervised indoor walk if the weather in Burnaby is too rainy.
