Business Trip House Sitting Coverage - Richmond

We are a growing small business that operates online, and both owners travel frequently now for conferences, so we need a professional and reliable house sitter for our main base of operations, which is also our family home in Richmond.

We have a large two-story house with a dedicated office, and we need someone to stay here for periods of 3-5 days every few weeks.

This job is about security and ensuring the internet and power stay on, not really about pet care, as our dogs will be boarded.

We need someone to start in about three weeks for a 4-day trip.

You would be responsible for checking the office equipment daily to make sure all computers and servers are running and restarting them if needed.

This is not a tech job, but you need to know how to press a power button, lol.

We also need you to water our fairly large collection of houseplants (about 20 in total) every second day.

And check the mail, bringing in any business-related envelopes immediately.

We prefer someone who lives nearby, within 20-30 minutes, as we might sometimes need you on short notice.

We don't require you to have your own transportation for this job as the transit options nearby are quite good, and this task is perfect for new immigrants in Richmond looking for some consistent, simple work.

We prefer to pay in cash upon our return and completion of the job.

Also, we will require someone who speaks very good English because the instructions for the office are quite detailed and important.
