Casual Sitter Needed for Apartment Near Lougheed Town Centre, Burnaby

I just started a new, very demanding job, and my family life is suffering a bit from the stress, so I really need to plan a short trip away soon to recharge, maybe for four or five days.

I am looking for a casual house sitter for my small one-bedroom apartment in a high-rise near Lougheed Town Centre in Burnaby to look after my single, grumpy goldfish, Herbert.

The building has concierge access, so getting in is easy, but parking is tough here—give yourself extra time—welcome to Burnaby!

You would be responsible for making sure Herbert gets his tiny pinch of food every morning, topping up his tank with filtered water if it gets low, and just generally making sure the apartment is secure.

The main thing is that I want the place to look lived in; that means closing the blinds at night and opening them in the morning, and maybe leaving the TV on a low volume for a couple of hours each day.

I mainly use this platform for messaging and prefer to communicate via email for anything detailed or last-minute, so please let me know your email address in your message.

Check the basement storage locker once for any signs of water entry.

Water the three succulents in the kitchen window once during the trip.

Wipe down any dust that may settle on the living room table.
