- I am looking for an experienced house sitter for a large, historic home in the Rosedale area of Toronto.
- I'm going to be gone for about ten days next month because of a big work project, and I need someone mature and responsible to handle everything.
- I’m a little stressed about leaving the place, as it’s an older property, so attention to detail is really important to me.
- This is my second time hiring help this way, so I know the drill a little bit.
- You would be responsible for house sitting and managing some minor routine tasks.

- This is a big house, and I need the sitter to be comfortable with a bit of a routine.
- It would be helpful if you have experience with older home maintenance, like making sure the dehumidifier is running in the basement every day and keeping an eye out for any small leaks or drafts, especially since Toronto's weather can be unpredictable.
- The task includes:
- Checking all main-floor doors and windows are securely locked each night.
- Feeding the outdoor fish in the small pond every morning.
- Starting the car in the garage every three days and letting it run for about ten minutes.
- Keeping the kitchen tidy and cleaning up any messes.
- I can send photos after everything else is agreed on if you are interested.
