Extended House Check and Plant Care in Acadia

We are a small, family-run landscaping business in Calgary, and we need an experienced person to house sit for our main client for three weeks while they are overseas.

This is a large, bungalow-style property with an extensive indoor plant collection that needs special attention—not gonna lie, the sheer volume of tropical plants is what overwhelmed our previous staff member, so we need someone with experience in plant care.

The main tasks are daily deep watering of specific plants, making sure the furnace is working correctly, especially with the cold Calgary nights, and providing security by making the house look occupied.

We prefer to communicate via email for all the detailed instructions, which we can provide in a document with photos.

We’re looking for someone to spend about two hours a day on the property.

My budget is flexible for the right person who can handle this level of plant maintenance and provide daily check-ins on our dedicated platform.

I have a car and can travel 15-20 miles to drop off the key and review the specific plant needs before the client leaves.

* Check all exterior doors and windows daily.

* Run water in all sinks and flush toilets every three days to prevent dry pipes.

* Take out the Calgary green bin and blue bin on the scheduled day.
