I am flying out for a business trip next month, and I'm really stressed because my sweet senior cat, Mittens, is not doing well and I need a very careful, compassionate housesitter to stay with her in my home while I am away for 8 days.
We live in a clean, quiet duplex in North Edmonton (near the Northgate Centre area), and I need someone who understands the extra care a sick pet requires.
People who have a vehicle will be given preference because there might be an emergency trip to the vet, and I would feel much better knowing you can get there fast.
The main tasks are very important and delicate: Mittens needs specific medication mixed into her food twice a day (I will show you how), and she has to be fed three small meals instead of two, so you need to stick to a strict schedule.
I also need you to clean her favorite blanket daily as she's having accidents sometimes, and just generally keep an eye on her to make sure she is eating and drinking enough.
I have a lot of specific rules because I love her so much, so I’m hoping to find someone who is kind and patient.
You must be legally allowed to work in Canada for this task.
