Housesitting Our Elderly Dog in Westboro for Holiday Week

I am an experienced user of this platform and I'm seeking a kind, patient person to stay at my house in Westboro to look after my elderly Labrador, Monty, while my family and I are away for Christmas.

Monty is mostly fine, but he needs two different medications mixed into his food each day, once in the morning and once in the evening, and he needs help getting up and down the stairs now, so strong physical care is needed.

This is a very emotional time for me because I haven't left him in years, so I need someone who is gentle and reliable.

The job involves staying overnight for eight nights, ensuring Monty has his meds and food, a quick pee-break in the yard every morning, and just being present for him.

My house is a large two-story detached home with a fenced yard.

You'd also need to water the large Fiddle-Leaf Fig tree in the living room once during the stay; I can leave detailed instructions.

Change the dog's water bowl three times per day.

Bring in and stack the firewood on the back deck.

Keep the house tidy, especially the kitchen area.

Lock the side gate before leaving each time you go out.
