Housesitting our Large Family Home near UBC while we are away

This is a request from our family for a housesitter for our large house near the UBC campus in Vancouver.

We are an established family in the area, and we need someone mature and responsible to look after our place for a month-long trip we have planned overseas.

Honestly, we are quite stressed about finding someone reliable on short notice, but the person who was going to help us had to take a last-minute job out of town, which is frustrating.

The house is quite large, but the tasks are pretty straightforward, mostly just about upkeep and security.

We need someone to bring in any flyers left on the porch daily.

Check all the exterior doors and windows every evening.

Keep the front walkway clear of any leaves or debris that the constant Vancouver drizzle might bring down.

We need someone who speaks very good English to communicate with a neighbor who holds the emergency key.

The rate is negotiable depending on experience.
