My Family Needs a House Sitter While We Move to Edmonton!

We are moving to Edmonton next month, and our moving truck is delayed, so we need a responsible, friendly person to stay in our new rental house for about a week before we get there to make sure everything is okay and receive some important mail.
We're super excited about the move, but also kinda nervous, and having someone trustworthy there will help us feel a lot better about this big life change.
The house is a nice three-bedroom place in the community of Terwillegar Towne, and it's currently empty, so you won't have to deal with any clutter!
The main job will be keeping the place secure until we get there.
You'll need to check all the doors and windows twice a day, once in the morning and again before you go to bed.
The most important thing is receiving a couple of important packages from FedEx and keeping them safe until we arrive; they are sensitive documents, so you must sign for them and put them somewhere secure inside the house.
The other tasks are super simple, like flushing all the toilets once a day to keep the pipes fresh, and just running the dishwasher once if any of our basic cleaning supplies arrive early.
We've budgeted $60/day for this housesitting job, but we are open to discussing rates if your experience is really top-notch.
