I'm frantically looking for a responsible and caring housesitter for my condo near Kitsilano beach in Vancouver starting next week.
My original sitter, who is my younger sister, suddenly got a great job offer and is moving to Calgary next week, which leaves me in a REALLY NEED for someone to cover the three weeks I'm away for my work conference.
It's a two-bedroom condo, and the main job is just making sure everything stays safe and secure; no major cleaning is needed, but I do need someone to be there overnight, so it's not just a drop-in service.
The main tasks include taking out the trash and recycling on Tuesday morning (our Vancouver recycling rules are surprisingly complicated, so I'll leave detailed instructions!),
watering my indoor plants, which are mostly succulents, every four days,
and checking the mail every day.
It would be great if you could also send me a daily quick text update just so I know everything is okay and I can focus on my work trip without worrying about the house.
I'm willing to pay $70 per day, and my budget is flexible for the right person with good experience.
