Message From The Owner
- I'm really stressed because my usual sitter just moved out of Richmond quite suddenly, and I have a family emergency out of town starting Friday afternoon.
- I desperately need someone reliable to look after my home and my two senior cats for four days, Friday evening through Monday morning.
- This isn't just about feeding them; one cat needs a pill mixed into his food twice a day, and the other is very timid and needs quiet company, so someone who is patient and comfortable with shy animals is a must.
- The apartment is on the third floor of a walk-up near No. 3 Road, and while it's small, it gets very dark and gloomy quickly this time of year, so I would need you to open all the blinds in the morning and turn on a few main lamps in the evening to make it look lived in.
- I can send photos after everything else is agreed on so you can see the space beforehand.
- The main house tasks are pretty simple: collecting the mail, watering the few indoor plants, and ensuring the cats' litter boxes are scooped twice daily (I have all the supplies).
- I would also like the sidewalks and porch swept once on Sunday, since all the rain and wind we get in Richmond tends to blow leaves and debris everywhere, making the house look messy fast.
- I'm available on short notice for an in-person meet-and-greet on Thursday evening, but I’m willing to negotiate on price if you have great reviews and experience with older cats.
