We are so excited to finally take a vacation, but we are a bit nervous about leaving our new rescue dog, Buster, so we need a trustworthy house sitter to stay in our apartment for nine days.
Ensure the thermostat is kept at a steady 20°C.
Wipe down the kitchen counters after every meal prep.
Our place is a two-bedroom condo near Minoru Park in Richmond, and access is via a FOB key and a lockbox we have outside the building entrance.
Buster needs to be let out into the small fenced area behind the building three times a day.
He requires his chew toys to be cleaned with warm water every evening before bed to prevent him from getting sick, which is something we are really specific about.
He is a very friendly guy, but he can be a little nervous when we first leave him.
We need someone to come in the morning of the 5th and stay until the evening of the 13th next month.
We also want the main living areas and kitchen floors to be vacuumed every other day because Buster sheds a lot, and we don't want to come home to a mess (we have a Dyson vacuum you can use).
Since we are new to the area, we don't really know anyone here in Richmond yet, so finding a sitter who is vetted is a big priority.
We will leave very detailed instructions for the apartment and for Buster, including the complex rules about visitor parking (parking is tough btw, but we have a visitor pass you can use).
We want to be able to enjoy our trip and not worry about Buster or our home.
