- Our small, established professional bakery near Boundary Road and Lougheed Highway is rapidly expanding its wholesale orders, and we are absolutely at capacity, which means we desperately need extra hands for key preparation work.
- We are specifically looking for someone with professional experience in a commercial kitchen to handle bulk prep of baking ingredients, such as scaling flour, mixing doughs, prepping fruit fillings, and organizing refrigerated items.
- This is a very physically demanding role, requiring standing for long periods and lifting 20-40 lb bags of ingredients, and we have very high standards for cleanliness and efficiency in our space.
- We are looking for coverage on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and we will provide all the necessary safety gear and training on our specific equipment, which includes large commercial mixers and ovens.
- You must be legally allowed to work in Canada for this task, and people who have a vehicle will be given preference for early-morning shifts, though please know parking is tough here, give yourself extra time—it’s Burnaby after all!
- We are serious about finding someone reliable who is looking for consistent part-time work, and we are happy to offer a competitive hourly wage based on experience.
