Our established tech company with two Edmonton locations is looking for a professional and discrete individual to handle the preparation of our staff lunches twice a week.
We want to offer our employees a high-quality, healthy meal every Tuesday and Thursday as a wellness perk, and we've recently expanded operations, making in-house prep a necessity.
We need someone who can work with a budget of about $12 per person for 30 staff members.
The kitchen is in our main office building near the Ice District, and access is via key fob, which we'll provide.
The task is comprehensive and involves menu planning (with final approval from us), sourcing and purchasing all ingredients (we will reimburse promptly), cooking the meal, setting up a buffet-style serving area, and then managing the complete cleanup, including washing all pots and utensils.
We need meals that are easy to eat at a desk but still feel gourmet, like pasta salads, hearty wraps, build-your-own bowls, or high-end stews (not gonna lie, the winter weather in Edmonton means warm food is essential).
We expect a high standard of hygiene and timeliness, as the food must be ready to serve exactly at 12:00 PM.
