We're a small, growing catering business here in Calgary, and we really need an extra pair of hands on the weekends to handle the bulk of our food prep.
Our head chef is swamped with new orders, and frankly, our previous person moved out of the city, so we're desperately trying to catch up on the prep list.
This role involves large-volume chopping, marinating meats, prepping desserts like portioning and freezing, and labeling everything clearly for our mid-week cooks.
We're based in a commercial kitchen setup that's easy to get to, and we provide all the high-quality knives and equipment you'll need; you just need to bring your skill and enthusiasm.
The timing would be Saturday and/or Sunday, ideally 8-hour shifts, but we're flexible and can break it up if needed.

Our budget is flexible depending on experience, but we're looking to pay fairly, within the $22-$28/hour range, and we are willing to negotiate on price for the right fit.
I have a car and can travel 15-20 miles to come in, but since you'll be working in our kitchen, that's more about your reliability.
